      We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Change professional to join our Technology & Change team in Southampton as an Enterprise Change Director. Old Mutual Wealth is undergoing a significant amount of change in terms of its business strategy, regulatory developments, managed separation, transformation projects and operational demands. The purpose of this role is to enable Old Mutual Wealth to execute its strategy through effective management, alignment and delivery of the Old Mutual Wealth enterprise change portfolio.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Lead the development and embedding of Enterprise Change as a business practice across Old Mutual Wealth.
      • Ensure all change activity is directly linked to OMW strategy execution through the development of a collective change portfolio, delivery roadmaps and appropriate governance oversight.
      • Establish an Enterprise wide change delivery operating model to provide assurance that the collective change in the business will deliver the intended business-of-tomorrow, within the collective risk appetite and optimally utilising the collective resources available.
      • Build collective understanding and delivery expertise for each change discipline: business strategy; environmental change; competitive pressure; transformation programmes; operational change; business model impact; risk profile; organizational readiness; and resource availability.
      • Lead the Enterprise Change function, developing a culture of consistent execution and customer led outcomes and solutions.
      • Build strong relationships across the Old Mutual Wealth group, understanding the various business units, their individual strategies, challenges and priorities.
      • As an enterprise change director Embed strong reporting and MI around strategy outcomes that enables key stakeholder understanding, engagement and risk management.
      • Review and develop change governance systems and practices to develop a centre of excellence and build a reputation for delivery outside of the Technology and Change function.
      • As part of the Technology and Change senior leadership team support the CIO in developing the technology and change strategy, galvanizing the broader technology and change team around this and ensuring understanding, commitment and motivation.
      • Understand stakeholder goals and expectations and assess impact on the overall business strategy.

      Qualifications Required


      • Bachelor's degree required and or relevant business related experience and skills.


      • MBA or equivalent master's degree.

      Experience Required

      • Proven experience of leading Enterprise Wide Change in a complex change environment and financial services.
      • Proven experience and strong understanding of all delivery aspects regarding process, people and technology.
      • Previous experience of working closely with strategy director / function, understanding, challenging and aligning the change agenda to deliver business strategy execution.
      • Proven track record in directly engaging with the executive team of an organisation of similar size and complexity than Old Mutual Wealth.
      • Commercially astute with excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage and influence at all levels across the business and the wider organization
      • Significant previous senior experience in managing projects and programmes and proven ability to manage multiple complex programmes simultaneously essential.
      • Strong risk and governance understanding / experience at a senior level.
      • Experience of working at Board and Executive level, able to bring credibility and gravitas.

      Number of Direct Reports and Function Size

      • 4 Direct Reports with a span of control.
