      Lawes Marsh has a vacancy for a Sales and Marketing Manager. This role presents an opportunity to join an established and dynamic company with an exciting growth strategy. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, business minded and have excellent communication skills. The position is based at Port Solent, Hampshire, although a reasonable degree of remote working is available, as well as travelling to client meetings.


      Responsibilities to include:

      •Managing and responding to sales leads

      •Active marketing of existing and new services

      •Managing and updating the website

      •Recognise realistic opportunities for business growth (in line with overall aims and objectives) and
      bring proposals forward for discussion

      •Assist with bidding for new contracts, where required, as part of any selected tender process

      •Take ownership of the quarterly sales and marketing plan, ensuring effective delivery in line with
      agreed timescales and expectations

      •Brochure, flyer and newsletter management



      •Proven sales and marketing experience

      •Preferably (but not essential) knowledge of the fire and safety industry, in particular residential block

      •Proven track record in establishing relationships with customers, both over the telephone and face to

      •Excellent writing skills with experience of generating content suitable for print media



      •You must be confident with a passion to provide excellent customer service


      •Able to multi task and work well under pressure

      •Excellent telephone manner and communication skills, both written and verbal
