Job Purpose The Technical Solutions Manager is a hybrid role combining the strategic expertise of a Technical Account Manager with the technical depth of a Sales Engineer. This position serves as the critical bridge between our commercial teams and technical product capabilities, ensuring successful customer outcomes throughout the sales cycle and beyond. This role is responsible for supporting the Account Management team in identifying and executing upsell opportunities by demonstrating advanced product features and value propositions to existing customers. Were a high-growth HR tech startup building and selling software that helps in-house recruitment teams attract, hire, and onboard the right talent. Today, we have a strong foundation in place, with a mature product, rapid growth, strong productmarket fit, and happy customers. To date, Ive been the one leading technical discovery, building Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and unblocking complex deals. Its worked, but it doesnt scale. As we handle a higher volume of larger, more complex deals, we need dedicated technical horsepower embedded in Sales. Thats where you come in. Were hiring our first Solutions Engineer to partner closely with AEs leading technical discovery, designing tailored solutions, and building proofs of concept that prove we can deliver.

This is a hybrid role , with one day per week in the office (in Llandudno, North Wales) and the rest working remotely. Youll be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the platforms that deliver learning to thousands of our users. About the Role Youll be working on our proprietary Learning Management System (LMS) built on PHP (Mezzio / Laminas Framework) , supporting features such as assessments, reporting, certification, and tutor workflows. Youll also work across several WordPress-powered websites that include custom code and integrations with our LMS, payment processors , and other business tools. Youll enhance functionality, performance, and user experience while improving interoperability across our ecosystem.
